Japanese Decadence at Kasa Moto in Yorkville
If you’re in love with Japanese culture and their amazing food like me, then this new destination is perfect for you! Chase Hospitality Group opened up a new Japanese inspired restaurant in the heart of Yorkville, Kasa Moto and its safe to say, we are obsessed.
Located at 115 Yorkville Ave, this two-story gem offers up a great visual experience along with tasty cuisine. The interior has been remodelled by award winning firm II BY IV DESIGN. From the minimalist colour palette and imported tiles to the dramatic lighting and warm finishes such as walnut and oak. This new restaurant is certainly here to impress. However, the show stopping interior does not end there. The sprawling rooftop terrace and lush indoor topiary ties the whole space together.
Chefs Tsuyoshi Yoshinaga and Daisuke Izutsu bring the vibrant menu to life with contemporary Japanese flavours and an impeccable presentation. We highly recommend the Broccoli Tempura, Soba Noodle Salad, Wagyu Beef and their entire cocktail menu but the entire menu is just amazing. As you make your way up to the second floor you are greeted by Bar Moto, an exclusive event space and private dining area. The main floor seats 150, the rooftop 180 and Bar Moto 60.
Kasa Moto is open Monday-Friday starting at 11am, Saturday starting at 10:30am. Be sure to check out the Kasa Moto website for more on the restaurant.
