Brassai Fall Brunch Menu
Weekends for me don’t really exist unless i have brunch with friends. I’m not sure when that came to be, but brunch on weekend has become more of a ritual no mater the season, weather or what other plans I have each weekend. That’s why when I was asked to visit one of Toronto’s hot spot, Brassaii for Sunday brunch, they didn’t have to ask me twice.
If you kept up with my Insta-Stories this past weekend, you would already know, but I grabbed two of my favourite girls to join me for a much needed catch up and brunch on Sunday. It amazed me that I had been to Brassaii countless times – events, parties and more, but I had never tasted a single piece of food from their kitchen which happens to be very well put together thanks to Executive Chef Marcus Monteiro.
It was a rainy Saturday, but it really set the mood for the afternoon – great chats, amazing food and a cozy and comfortable atmosphere.
We were given a run down of the menu which includes fresh cold-pressed juices, brunch cocktails like the Paloma and Mimosa which we enjoyed, a “build your own” parfait/sundae/waffle menu and delectable brunch mains.
Once we heard the magic word, “Cinnamon Bun” we just knew that it was a must. Honestly, it was way more than I expected and the taste was delicious! It was followed by the chicken and waffles which didn’t disappoint, the eggs benedict which was served which a yummy salad and of course, we had to go for the Orea Pancakes.
I’ll let that sink in. That’s pancakes with Oreo filling dressed on top of the pancakes which Oreo cookie crumbles. It was so decadent it had to be shared (as much as I didn’t want to).
Needless to say, I will definitely be back to Brassaii. The food is impeccable along with the great vibe of King St. West. Visit Brassaii online here to view the full menu of delicious dishes and see below for more photos from our visit!
